Safe-React Safe Concrete Remover "PLUS"
is a concentrated formula designed to replace harmful acids for removing
concrete from trucks, tools, etc. This product is for
the user who wants strength and versatility; but who is also willing to take
extra care, because it could break down incidental surfaces like wash bay
floors. Normally diluted before applying, this formula minimizes shipping
costs. Like our regular Safe Concrete Remover, "PLUS" foams up
and Reacts with concrete and removes it from equipment, yet is Safe for workers to
use and does not damage the surface being cleaned.
NO FUMES
Safe-React does not produce toxic fumes. Studies show hydrochloric acid fumes
are not only immediately harmful when inhaled, but can be very harmful to
worker's lungs when breathed (even at low concentrations) over a long period of
time.
NON-CORROSIVE
Safe-React Safe Concrete Remover "PLUS" is non-corrosive by D.O.T. standards. It does not attack metal,
glass, or plastic. Using Safe-React saves money compared to the cost of
replacing equipment that is damaged by corrosive cleaners like hydrochloric
acid. Reduces replacement expenses on valuable parts such as truck bodies,
windshields, light lenses, and power trowel blades.
NON-HAZARDOUS
Safe-React saves time and money since it is non-hazardous. Storage and shipping
expenses are reduced, and time-consuming handling procedures are not required as
with hydrochloric acid. Also, hazardous cleaners can be costly in injury-related
expenses.
PERFORMS LIKE AN ACID
Safe-React fizzes when it contacts concrete, like hydrochloric acid and other
acids. It is a unique salt-based formula that does not contain any hazardous
acid commonly used for concrete removal.
APPLICATIONS
Effective on ready-mix trucks, concrete pumping trucks and equipment, power
trowels, forms, tools, etc. May also be used on other types of cleaning jobs
which normally require the use of an acid. If you are replacing a
traditional hazardous acid cleaner, use this product exactly the same way.
However, because of reduced fume risk, it is possible to apply with a sprayer if
desired.
DIRECTIONS
Dilute one part "PLUS" with one part water. Spray on unwanted
concrete, or apply with brush and agitate. Wait 5-10 minutes, rinse with
pressure washer or hose. Heavier deposits may require additional
treatment. Can also be applied by soaking or dipping. This formula
is designed to be diluted with water, but can be used straight if care is taken
not to contact desirable concrete surfaces such as floors (while
undiluted). Can be diluted even more for lighter jobs. If brushing,
use a plastic brush or an acid brush.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Contains a proprietary salt mixture, is 100% soluble in water, the pH is <1,
and the flash point is >212 F.
